Questions the doctor asks any rashes any infections any pains lumps tiredness and how are you feeling generally.
Well looking at that photo above I was a picture of health ha ha ha but on a serious note I’ve had my treatment they moved because they forgot my Bone strengthening injection and it could cause problems with my calcium levels brilliant.
So again waiting to see if I can have the injection on Friday I’ll come back Monday or wait until the following treatment day in four weeks time.
Travelling to Western Park for each appointment takes approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic and getting in the car parked now that’s a big chunk of time when maybe time is the most precious thing

Hi Tim, saw you on Look North tonight and I’m inspired by your courage to share your story. I’m in a similar position, I’m a 48 year old Dad with 3 children with a recent diagnosis of Stage 4 melanoma. I was diagnosed with Stage3 melanoma over 18 months ago following the removal of a growth on my right calf. Since then I have undergone Immunotherapy as an adjuvant treatment, followed by the removal of my lymph nodes. I was hoping to be in a more positive place in December, however the melanoma spread up my leg , around my groin, and a recent CT scan shows traces within my lungs. At present, I have kept my diagnosis discrete due to my concerns of being treated differently at work to protect myself and family. Ive just started my latest immunotherapy regime and continue to keep myself fit for both the physical and mental journey ahead. Thank you for sharing your story, I’m now looking forward to reading and following your blog. Best wishes to you and your family.
